The continuation for the previous post. On Friday, Ivan came to my house and picked me up. I was 10 minutes late because i set the alarm 5.30 'PM' instead of 'AM'.. lol. Then, we went to Lake Field where Kyew lives.
We arrived at the our destination. At first, the path looks big and easy to trek until it reaches to a point where it is all the way 60 degrees upward hike. So there was the place where i first raise my left leg and felt a sudden strain at the thigh. After that, the curry mee start to take effect too.
After around 45 minutes, we reached the first pit stop and i rested 1 minute every 10 minutes because my left leg got overheated. At the first pit stop we took pictures of each others.
Ivan.T, the con-man who never warn us about the steep slope and also misguide us down the mountain. There is a nice pathway and he decided to move away from the pathway and got us into slippery and thorny jungle.. its not even a path.
Kyew.T, who is Ivan's other friend that drove us to the destination which happens to be a photographer as well.
[Decided not to put picture of myself because they took my Joker's face]
After 15 minutes rest, Ivan took out a can of Chivas 100 plus and tried to sell to us for RM10. I ignored him and continued take pictures.
Then we proceed to the next pit stop then we heard someone calling us from the top of the hill. It was the keeper of the forest so Ivan back "Ooooii" den it replied "Wooohh hooo".
After a total of 1.30 hours, we reached the top and we met 4 Nottingham University students who had already arrived there an hour ago from the other starting point. So we said 'Hi' and 'Bye' and they gone down from where we came up, and we also proceed down to where they came from.
The journey down was easy but it was much more longer and it takes around 2 hours.
Ah~ looks like i made it through Bukit Broga. After that, we went eat spicy soup that basically soup with lots of, i mean A LOT of pepper. As conclusion, I conquered Bukit Broga.
